George Cross

George Sprackling, aka George Cross, is a techno, electro and dub house producer based on the south coast of England and has also been DJing since the late 90s.

Having released on legendary labels like Urban kickz, Saki, Motech and Diffuse Reality Records, George has remixed for the likes of Kareem Smith. and Samuel sessions.

He has been using Reason since 3 and Ableton since 7, dabbling in Bitwig and Reaper.

Icons of the scene such as Ben Sims, Dave Clarke, Dvs1 and Ken Ishii have all championed his sound.

He's all about keeping the question instresting with movement and texture. A lover of sub bass who has branched out into producing drum and bass in a techno mix way.

Passionate about helping others achieve their musical goals, he's given feedback for Finish More Music and Discord's The Vault.

Influences include Jeff Mills, Black Dog, Red Shape, Claro Intelecto, Speedy J, Mattias Fridell, Ronny Pries, Steve Stoll, Carl Craig, Derrick May, Steve Rachmad, Kenny Larkin, Klute, Basic Rhythm, Basic Channel.

He describes his approach as less is always more, and limitation is the key to creativity!
